Control Techniques

As an engineer within Control Techniques, you will discover a place where your skills and creativity are highly valued and rewarded. The work you do will be exciting, fast paced, and involve the application of leading edge power electronics and control technologies. You will have at your disposal all the support and resources you need to develop and succeed, and will be located in the company's global headquarters within a modern, purpose built and fully equipped engineering centre.

As an E3 Academy student you will receive a two day induction with the company prior to starting University. Each summer you will be involved in a different 8 week placement, joining one of the engineering teams, participating in a live engineering design project. This gives you the opportunity to work with, and learn from, many of the world's top development engineers in the fields of power electronics, software and control. You will also have the opportunity to meet socially with other students and employees.

On graduating and joining Control Techniques, the company will partially refund your university tuition fees. You will then join Control Techniques' internationally recognised IET accredited engineering graduate training program. This will set you on a fast track path to achieve your personal and professional career goals. As your achievements and skills grow, new opportunities within Control Techniques will enable you to take on different roles and broaden your experience

Located in the stunning Welsh countryside, Control Techniques' advanced engineering & design centre offers E3 Academy students the perfect setting to fulfil their potential. Nearby Shrewsbury is a large, vibrant town with great rail and motorway links, meaning you'll find plenty to do in your free time.
